An amount of Rs 9.72 crore has been sanctioned to take up repairs for Nellore ‘Bellary’ Mumbai highway apart from Rs 90 lakh for emergency repairs. The road to an extent of 100 km was damaged because of the plying of thousands heavily loaded iron ore trucks everyday.

proposals to build road over bridges at Gudur, Kavali and Manu-bolu at an outlay of Rs 99 crore have been sent for approval.

The road from Venkatachalam to Mutth-ukur via Surveypalli would be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 10.5 crore.
