Iffco will also invest $ 1 billion each in expanding its Nellore plant in Andhra Pradesh and in its Kalol facility in Gujarat. At the Kalol plant, Iffco will set up a phosphoric acid plant that will produce the equivalent of one million tonne of phosphoric acid a year. This would go into the fertilisers produced at its Kandla plant. Another $1 billion investment will go into a new phosphoric acid plant being set up by Iffco and Jordan Phosphate Mines Company at Eshidiya.
